Do you know what is actual today?
One of our ministers has been accused for flirting with one young blond journalist. Actually the journalist provoked him into it.
OK, ministers can flirt with girls and go to romantic dates even if they are married. The sad thing is that he (still) is special assignment minister for social integration from the party who's priority among others is to support and maintain the stability of families and conservative values.
He already draw public's attention when he said that he won't go to PRIDE because he is not gay. Sure, he is not. It would be better for him to be gay with strong family ties.:)
He's our Bill (Clinton, if you've forgot).
I like him - he's so funny in audio file of our daily newspaper Diena.

Hi Ilze,
I'm an EVS volunteer in Latvia and I just found you blog. I'm here already for 3 weeks and the classes of Latvian began :) do you know if there is some manual available online I can use to learn Latvian? I mean English > Latvian.
I'll read more articles of your blog as they are really useful for me ;)
